Puzzle Solved Voynich manuscript?

Voynich manuscript is the name of a mysterious old manuscript. Since discovered by a collector of antiques, F Wilfrid Voynic in 1912, up to now no one can solve the puzzle manukrip a thick 240 pages, supposedly from the middle ages.

Voynich manuscript is written in the language and characters who never understood until now. Who the author was not known. Whereas many studies have been conducted by cryptography experts to solve it, but no avail.

Besides dominated by a few letters and writings that unintelligible language, inside there are also some illustrations, no less mysterious. On some pages clearly defined several types of plants that are not known. Some other picture showed a glimpse picture looks like a map of the constellation of space objects such as planets and galaxies. And there are other images, including some illustrations set of naked women who were bathing at a bathing pool.

Looking at the overall content of the manuscripts, many experts think that this is a book prescription drugs that are secret, so that the letters and written language that may be only understood by certain people only at that time.

No one really knows where to come Manukrip Voynich. But some experts say the manuscript may have come from the European region and was written between 15 -17 century CE.

Does Voynich manuscript is a lie?

Because never-solved, some people think this manuscript is a lie / trick alone. He was probably written by someone who was "idle" or written in the language and created their own characters, so that only the creator are understood.

But for Dr. Gordon Rugg - an expert from Keele University - he did not believe such speculative opinions above before you actually see for myself. With a few simple techniques, a computer scientist's claim to know whether this ancient manuscripts actually contains a meaning or just a trick.

By using the method of Cardan Grille, namely how to write a secret code by using the small boxes on the paper, Rugg tried to write the letters that form a sentence in a section Voynich manuscript. Every letter he placed in sequence in each of the small boxes he had on paper forms. Then by using pieces of paper that has been hollowed out to form a diagonal line pattern, respectively Rugg put on paper that has been established pattern of small boxes earlier. Then he noted the letters that formed in the holes in the piece of paper.

With this technique, Rugg says can see the coherence of each letter and the patterns formed. From the simple but effective experiment that he did, Rugg concluded that it Manuskirp Voynich is a lie / trick. But Rugg himself said that his opinion could be wrong if one day the puzzle Voynich manuscript actually can be solved by cryptographic methods are more sophisticated.
